Infonotary EAD - Qualified Certification Services Provider

What is a Qualified Electronic Signature?

A qualified electronic signature is a document authentication tool that can save you a lot of time. Taking advantage of the Internet, you can sign various documents without leaving your home or office.

Above all, it is legally recognized as a valid signature for all persons in the country. This means that any document you sign with it will have the same power and validity as if you signed it on paper.
The qualified electronic signature provides an undoubted guarantee of your identity. It makes it impossible to falsify your documents, preserves the secret of communication, and makes the electronic document official.
The qualified electronic signature proposed by CCB is issued by Infonotary EAD.

You can use the Qualified Electronic Signature to personally identify yourself to Internet applications, to perform financial transactions, secure and encrypted communications, electronic correspondence, to sign electronic documents, and to make electronic statements, authentication and encryption activities.

The qualified electronic signature is issued for 1 or 3-year validity period.

The public key is needed to verify the electronic signature, i.e. it is required so that the organization, bank or other person can accept the document signed with a qualified electronic signature. Using the public key, they will make sure that the document is signed by you in your quality of the holder of the Electronic Signature Certificate. The public key is entered in the Certificate issued by Infonotary EAD and can be provided in two ways:

  • through the website of Infonotary EAD, where it can be downloaded
  • you can provide it to the person to whom you will send the signed documents.
